The mech itself isn't modified that much, mostly because I love its design and I didn't want to spoil that.
- Kitbashed/scratchbuilt main weapon (railgun) - Scribed additional panel lines - Used IC sockets to detail up the thrusters - Custom paintjob - Scratchbuilt diorama base
The Sinanju is by far my favorite MS in just about any series, and this really does it justice. I really wish I had the skill to do this kind of work. I love the additional panel lining, really does help the kit. The lighter red 'camo', as someone else put it really, was a very nice touch. The display base is beautiful, and the railgun is a great job. 10/10 man, this is epic.
Thanks! though it is pretty much the same photos I posted back then. Maybe its because of the higher resolution? Or maybe you just saw the 1st set with the white background? I didn't like that set too :-P
Really? I recall it was white background. Using dark coloured Background really helps to show those details u made. Especially those subtle camo which very hard to catch
Ahh, that's why. I reposted pics with the gray background a few days after the white BG set. I didn't like that set so much that I just had to go out and buy gray cloth to reshoot it
@bonez621: I used the Tallgeese 3 railgun, hacked it to pieces, then built my design around the parts.
VERY cool!
I'm getting a Sinanju in the mail in a few days....SO EXCITED! XD
What models did you use to make the railgun? =/
